Jump Festa 2013 - The Big Megahouse Show!

It was really unexpected from Megahouse to show new figures at the Jump Festa, the event who take place at Makhari Messe, between 22 and 23 December. Actually, the figure manufacturer exposed a bunch of new updates and 3 new figures, it was unexpected to do it after the tsunami of new pieces shown at the Megahobby Expo during the last month. But it's always a pleasure to see what the future is hiding to us!

The Wonder Festival 2013 [Winter] announcement!

Good news, Kaiyodo announces the next Wonder Festival, it's gonna be the 2013 [Winter] edition! The largest festival dedicated to the hobby of manga figurines will open it doors Sunday, February 10, 2013, from 10:00 PM to 05:00 PM (Japan time). As always, the event will takes places at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Halls. The entry fee is set at 2,000 yen (which included the festival guide). Let's just wait and see what this event will bring to us, we the Portrait Of Pirates collectors! Stay tuned!

NEO-5 Nico Robin is back as part of the LIMITED EDITION series. The popular original shape has been left as-is, with clothes and the hat repainted in more vivid pearl and metallic colors. With the hair and face colored in more detail, this is definitely the renewal edition that fans have been waiting for. Nico Robin Repaint Version will certainly interests the collectors who doesn't have the Neo version yet, it's a great chance to not pay a fortune for the first figure!

Megahobby EXPO Autumn 2012: Clash of the Titans!

Megahobby EXPO Autumn 2012 is definitely the most important exposition ever that took place in 2012! The new announcements are really huge, very huge! We're used to the fact that Megahouse always release the best of them on the Megahobby, but never expected that it can takes that level of bigness! 8 NEW FIGURES! Yes, Megahouse announced 8 new figures that are all great!

New Shots of Chopper "Kung-Fu Point"!

Kyaaa~!! Chopper is angry and it's totally... CUTE! The new form (and the first alternative form from Megahouse) is finally out to join our collections. Sailing Again Chopper "Kung Fu point" looks very cartoon-ish. Actually, this figure is very faithful to this battle form with its prismatic and deformed silhouette, the painting is also a success. A little but very funny figure is about to make us wonder if Megahouse is going to release more Chopper forms... at least, it's gonna be better than the Chopperman repaints! Enjoy the show!

Chopperman again? Why not since it's always funny and cute! This time it's called Chopperman Sky Version. This Chopperman looks very soft with its calm colors; clouds and sky are giving their colors for our Kawai superhero, the gradients on it's base and cape are also amazing :) Another piece for serious collectors that won't be very easy to find since it's a Mugiwara Store exclusive item (Try our Proxy Service). This is the second figure to be released with a 1.5 on its name, actually, Megahouse decided to re-edit the figure of Rob Lucci with a major revision, and this month -for people who previously ordered it of course- the Portrait Of Pirates Limited Edition Rob Lucci 1.5 figure is knocking the door of its buyers.

Miyazawa Exhibition Autumn 2012

A little view on the Miyazawa Exhibition is always welcomed, especially if Megahouse and its P.O.P Collection are there too! Well, two days earlier started the latest preorders concerning our great Pirates collection, and today we've got some new shots of the future figures; Teach, Shiliew and Boa were there showing their new statues! It's a chance to discover the prototype with true eyes (at least, fan's taken pictures), better to admire the figure than seeing the official photos. I'll let you see what I'm actually talking about...

Animarket: Preorder now! DX Shiliew, EX Boa Blue ver. & Teach 1.5!

Hey guys, this month is full of new figures (at least, new versions) and Animarket is always bringing the best of it. For November, we finally get Shiliew's preorders, I've personally been waiting for that figure since the first time I saw the prototype. Again, Megahouse uses a dynamic pose, another ready-for-action statue that was made by the precious talents of Fukuda Takashi, Shiliew deserve to get all this care because of his charismatic look and sober villain style. Then comes our beloved Boa Hancock, Megahouse decided to not create a new figure of her after the time-skip, and they didn't even called this a Sailing Again version but EX Blue ver., maybe because the Anime preserved the old look of her instead of her blue dress in the manga after the time skip, who knows! Anyway, this blue dress is what the princess wore after the 2 years.

Finally, Marshall D. Teach makes his come back to the POP Collection with a remake of his first and unique figure. It's called: 1.5 version! Yes, even Black-Beard have the right to get his edited clone! In this version, many details have been edited and look better; the pirate hat is longer, the colors are closer to the anime, and the most important thing is that new scaring face, totally full of  hate and craziness, it's really insane! This really deserves to be hunted, even for people who already have the first edition. Actually, Impel Down's former director and actual member of the Black-Beard Pirates; Shiliew's preorders are announced for November, 7th 2012 at 10:00 AM (GMT) (06:00 PM Japan). At the same day, we've got a new figure of our loved Snake-Princess, it's called: Boa Hancock Blue ver. Neo-EX POP, no idea how this blue version can be, since it's a EX classified figure (and limited too), we strongly think about the blue dress of Boa.
