It’s official, Trafalgar Law is slicing his way into the prestigious WA-MAXIMUM lineup! Revealed with much hype on Twitter, the latest entry under the “Portrait.Of.Pirates WA-MAXIMUM” banner is none other than the Surgeon of Death in his jaw-dropping Awakened state. And let me tell you, that fearless smirk? It’s already healing our broken wallets before we even pre-order.
Mark Your Calendars: June 6th Reservation Opens!
If you’ve been holding out for a reason to break your POP figure savings stash — this is it. Starting Friday, June 6th, reservations open for what could be the most intense Law figure we’ve seen yet. Megahouse promises an irresistible sculpt, and if the WA-MAXIMUM line’s past record is anything to go by (Kaido, Yamato, Zoro), we’re in for something dangerously beautiful. All signs point to an epic release that does full justice to Law’s awakened powers and tactical genius.
Mega Hobby EXPO’s Legacy and the Road Ahead
Old-school collectors might remember the thrill of late May — the buzz, the leaks, the adrenaline — all thanks to Mega Hobby EXPO. While the event’s now only once a year in Japan, its importance hasn’t faded. In fact, last year’s 20th Anniversary celebration brought with it waves of nostalgia and some of the boldest POP reveals in years.
According to Program Manager Kane-P, development and production are in full swing behind the scenes, with more big reveals teased for the next EXPO. Sounds like the MAXIMUM line is just getting warmed up. And let’s be real, if Law’s awakening is the starting point, what monster-tier reveal could be next? (A better Gear 5 Luffy, don’t be shy.)
Speculation Station: What to Expect (Or Remember!)
Okay, let’s be real — this isn’t *totally* uncharted territory. We already caught a full glimpse of WA-MAXIMUM Law [Surgeon of Death] during last year’s P.O.P 20th Anniversary event, and that preview alone had jaws dropping. The sculpt was pure chaos and control — just like the Surgeon of Death himself.
What we’re really looking forward to now is how that prototype will translate into the final, fully painted product. Will the energy effects use clear parts with that signature WA-MAXIMUM shimmer? Will Law’s outfit get metallic highlights? Megahouse has had time to refine the details, so expectations are sky-high. The dynamic posing, the aura of awakened power, and that fearless grin? Yes, yes, and YES.
Final Thoughts: Law Fans, This One’s For You
WA-MAXIMUM Law [Surgeon of Death] is shaping up to be a must-have for hardcore POP collectors and Law stans alike. The pre-order window starting June 6th won’t stay open forever, so don’t sleep on it. Whether you’ve been following POP since the EXPO heydays or you’re a new recruit to the hobby, this figure is the perfect storm of nostalgia, hype, and pure sculpted excellence.
