ZOOM! Luffy Gear Fourth BOUNDMAN SA-MAX

I got too hyped for this figure, and I was right, this is one of the best released P.O.P figures ever! Too bad the review is very late, but you know, we're trying to recover! Let's get deeper with one of the biggest Monkey D. Luffy's new forms, the GEAR FOURTH BOUNDMAN!

When I first saw that, I was like "why is it labeled MAX?" We already had some big P.O.P before like Moria, Kuma and WhiteBeard, even Shiki was big, but the great details of his base gave him the right to carry the MAX name.

If you look at this Luffy, not only his big size, but all these amazing details, it's hard to believe this is a PVC statue. The dynamic pose, the shiny arms and all these little details here and there, it's absolutely a magical piece of art, I believe they put too much effort to make such a great piece!

GEAR FOURTH is a technique first seen in Luffy's battle against Donquixote Doflamingo. It was developed by him during his training on Rusukaina. Luffy coats his arm in Busoshoku Haki before biting into his forearm. Similar to how he activates Gear Third, he blows an incredible amount of air into his body, but this time he inflates his muscular structure before distributing the air throughout his body, with emphasis on his upper half. If Luffy is stopped mid-blowing, the arm will slowly deflate. Luffy's first Gear Fourth form is called Boundman (弾む男 (バウンドマン) Baundoman, literal meaning "Bounce Man". Luffy's proportions become warped and his body becomes much larger in size, with his arms, upper torso, and legs coated in Busoshoku Haki. As a side-effect, he is incapable of standing still on the ground, and instead constantly bounces on the spot. This form was created in order to combat the many powerful and large animals on Rusukaina.

So this explain the shape of his body, and why he's in the air, the steam around him makes an amazing ambiance and a base to the figure at the same time, it's making the figure looks more dynamic and almost like a bouncing body, just like the name of this form.

The figure is really big, still bigger in real life than seeing it in pictures, I was surprised when I first saw it when unboxing, despite the good amount of pictures that I saw during all the events that happened before the release date. So in general, this is an awesome piece, a must-have I should say, you really need it in your collection because it's simply one of the best Luffy figures ever released, the price was a little bit high, and it's getting higher now.
