Long time since a P.O.P figure gets an early release during its release month, and that's the case of Sabo and Koala Sailing Again (Her ZOOM will be the next day). Sabo is in front of you, right in your field of view, he's the Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army, and is recognized as the "No. 2" of the entire organization...
Sabo kept his old outfit from twelve years ago, it's almost the same as the CB figure; a long black jacket with a buckle on the left sleeve, with a blue shirt and vest, a frilled cravat, and a simple belt holding a pair of loosen light-blue pants with black boots. He also wears a pair of brown gloves and the same top hat with goggles over the band. The outfit is unique, especially when it's sculpted with the talented hands of Yuuki Ishiyama, a real artist with high scored P.O.P figures in his registry.
As an adult, Sabo became taller and more muscular (that's normal). He has matured greatly, with more pronounced facial symmetry and a scar he acquired over his left eye. This scar was inflicted when Saint Jalmack selfishly blew up the fishing boat, tha facial expressions are so serious, whatever you pick up the serious face, or the smiling one, he's looking so badass!
Concerning the additional stuff, we've got the mythic metal pipe, you can arm Sabo with it, or just keep it hold on his back. There is also the fire effects, which are the best one ever during all the POP line history, Akainu and Ace must be jealous! One last detail, there is the Claws of the Dragon; Sabo's Ryusoken fighting style.
But these fire effects won't be there if there is no Mera Mera no Mi, and Megahouse has not forgotten to add it to the package, the fruit that all the Corrida Colosseum wanted. This is the second time we get a Devil Fruit with a POP figure, first was with Kaku.
That's all folks! Enjoy these pictures, and don't forget to share some photos of your Sabo once you get it, it's a figure that brings a lot from the One Piece world; Sabo, the metal pipes, the Mera Mera no Mi so it brings Ace as well... This is a real nice piece, really!
