The Navigator's New Look: Nami P.O.P Sailing Again Review

Welcome back to another showcase! Today we are taking a closer look at the stunning navigator of the Mugiwara Pirates as she steps into the New World. The P.O.P Sailing Again line really kicked things off with a bang, bringing us the crew in their post-timeskip glory, and Nami is absolute perfection here. Sculpted by Ajiken, this figure captures her confidence and beauty in a way that really stands out on the shelf.

A Fresh New World Style

The first thing you notice is, of course, the hair. Gone is the short cut from the East Blue days; now we have luscious, long orange waves that flow beautifully down her back. The sculpting on the hair is fantastic, with a semi-translucent quality at the tips that gives it a lightness and softness. It frames her face perfectly, highlighting those big brown eyes and that knowing, confident little smile. She looks ready for adventure, doesn't she?

Her outfit is the iconic bikini top and jeans combo we saw when the crew reunited at Sabaody. The green and white striped top features cute little dot details along the trim, and the painting is sharp and clean. It’s a bold look that fits her personality perfectly, balancing her fun side with her status as a pirate who knows exactly what she wants.

Denim and Details

Moving down, the sculpting on the jeans is surprisingly realistic. You can see the folds and creases in the denim fabric, especially around the hips and knees, which adds a nice texture contrast to the smooth skin tones. The low-rise cut sits just right on her hips, showing off that hourglass figure the P.O.P line is known for.

One of my favorite touches is the gold hardware on the jeans—those four gold circles on her left hip add a bit of pirate flair to a modern look. And we can't forget the accessories! On her left wrist, she’s wearing the new Log Pose, essential for navigating the crazy seas of the New World, along with a simple gold bangle. It’s these little elements that really bring the character to life.

From Every Angle

The pose is simple but effective. She’s standing with one hand on her hip, leaning slightly, which gives her a sassy, model-esque vibe. When you turn her around, you get a great view of her tattoo on the left shoulder—the pinwheel and tangerine paying homage to her past. The hair sculpt looks just as dynamic from the back, cascading down over her shoulders.

She stands on a bright orange octagonal base, which matches her hair color perfectly. It features the standard relief text with "Portrait.Of.Pirates," "Sailing Again," and her name, keeping it consistent with the rest of the crew in this series. At 215mm tall, she scales nicely with the other Straw Hats, making for a cohesive display.

Final Verdict

This version of Nami is a must-have for any One Piece collector. It’s a classic representation of her time-skip design, executed with the high quality we expect from MegaHouse. The vibrant colors, the attention to the denim texture, and that charming expression make her a standout piece. If you are building a Sailing Again crew display, our favorite navigator is definitely an essential addition!
